The bigger the model, the more you can see. At 1:18 or 1:24 scale, a car isn’t something you hold between two fingers — it’s something you set down on a desk and keep looking at. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan in 1:24 with opening doors. The Bburago Red Bull RB19 in 1:43 with Max Verstappen’s exact 2023 Championship livery. The LCD Toyota Supra A80 in 1:43 with a fully opening bonnet, doors, and boot that reveal a painted engine bay. These aren’t toys. They’re display objects.

At Cocoland Toys, our scale model collection covers 1:18, 1:24, 1:32, 1:36, 1:43, and 1:47 — 51 models from brands including Bburago, MSZ, EBBRO, LCD Models, GFCC, Kinsmart, Welly, Che Zhi, Greenlight, Vitesse, and more. Prices start from ₹899. We deliver across India.

What Is a Scale Model Car?

A scale model car is a die-cast or resin replica of a real vehicle, produced at a fixed mathematical ratio to the original. A 1:24 scale model is 1/24th the size of the real car — roughly 17–19cm long for most passenger cars. A 1:18 scale model is 1/18th the real size — typically 25–27cm, the largest format widely sold in India.

The defining feature of larger scale models is what those extra centimetres make possible. Opening doors, opening bonnet with a detailed engine bay, articulated steering, rubber tyres, painted instrument panels, and in some cases working LED lights and engine sounds — features that simply can’t be included at 1:64 or even 1:43 without exceptional tooling budgets.

Brands in the Cocoland Toys Scale Model Collection

Bburago Formula 1 & Ferrari Models

Bburago (Italian brand founded 1974, owned by May Cheong Group since 2006) produces officially licensed Formula 1 and Ferrari scale models at 1:43 and 1:18. The Red Bull RB19 Verstappen 2023 Championship Edition at 1:43 (₹1,299) is a certified bestseller — accurately rendered with Oracle Red Bull livery and race number. The Ferrari 499P Le Mans at 1:18 covers the hypercar that won Le Mans outright in 2023 and 2024. Price: ₹1,299–4,799.

MSZ Licensed Models (Porsche, BMW)

MSZ is the parent brand of CCA and is manufactured by Guangdong Caipo Technology Co. Ltd in Shantou, China. MSZ produces officially licensed small-to-mid scale diecast models at accessible prices. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS at 1:32 (₹1,499) includes lights, sound, and opening doors — an unusual feature combination at this price point. The Porsche 918 Spyder 1:43, BMW 3.0 CSL 1:43, BMW M6 GT3 1:43, and BMW i7 1:47 are all officially licensed with accurate badging. Price: ₹899–1,499.

LCD Models — Toyota Supra A80 1:43 Full Open

LCD Models is a Chinese diecast brand producing highly detailed 1:43 and 1:64 collector models. The Toyota Supra A80 in silver at 1:43 is a fully-open model — every panel opens (doors, bonnet, boot) to reveal a detailed interior and engine bay. The A80 Supra, produced from 1993 to 2002 with a 3.0-litre 2JZ-GTE engine, is one of the most beloved JDM platforms in automotive history. This is one of the best 1:43 Supra replicas available in India. Price: ₹10,299.

GFCC — 1954 Cadillac Coupe De Ville with Acrylic Case

GFCC is a specialist diecast brand producing meticulously detailed American classic cars in 1:43 scale. The 1954 Cadillac Coupe De Ville arrives with an acrylic display case included — a feature usually reserved for collector-grade products at much higher price points. The Coupe De Ville was the flagship Cadillac of 1954, a defining example of American chrome-and-tail-fin design. Price: ₹4,499.

EBBRO — Japanese Motorsport Replicas

EBBRO is a Japanese scale model brand (founded 1972) specialising in Japanese motorsport replicas at 1:43 scale. The Craftsports Motul Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500 from the 2019 Super GT Series (₹5,799) is the most specialist model in the Cocoland scale model range — a Super GT race car from the top tier of Japanese touring car racing, rendered in race livery with EBBRO’s known precision. The Porsche 910 from the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans is equally specific. These are models for collectors who know exactly what they’re looking for. Price: ₹5,199–5,799.

Kinsmart — 1:36 Collector Models

Kinsmart (founded 1965, Hong Kong) produces die-cast metal model cars across various scales. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 1:36 (₹899–999) and the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut 1:36 (₹999) offer opening doors and freewheel rolling at an extremely accessible price. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is one of the fastest cars ever designed — rated for over 330mph (531km/h) in theoretical top speed. At ₹999 in 1:36 diecast form, it’s genuinely hard to beat for value.

Che Zhi, Welly & Other Brands

Che Zhi (manufacturer of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan 1:24 in blue and red at ₹2,199) and Welly (Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 1:24 at ₹2,699) both produce licensed SUV and luxury car models at 1:24 scale with opening features. The 1989 Batmobile at 1:18 (₹4,799) is the Tim Burton film-era Batmobile with the distinctive jet-exhaust body — the most recognisable Batmobile design and a strong crossover piece for Batman and car collectors both. The Greenlight 1967 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan at 1:24 covers the classic American muscle car at honest 1:24 detail. Price range: ₹2,199–4,799.

Which Scale Is Right for You?

The most common question new collectors have when they reach this range. Here’s the honest breakdown:

1:43 — the widest-available collector scale. Small enough to display many models on one shelf. The Red Bull RB19, MSZ licensed models, and EBBRO motorsport pieces are all at 1:43. This is the entry point for display-grade collecting.

1:36 — Kinsmart’s scale. Slightly larger than 1:43, compact enough to be affordable. Good for a first display model or gifting.

1:32 — mid-format with room for lights, sound, and opening features. The MSZ Porsche 911 GT2 RS sits here.

1:24 — the balance point. Physically significant on a desk, still affordable. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Range Rover Evoque, BMW M3, Porsche Panamera, and 1967 Chevrolet Impala are all at 1:24.

1:18 — flagship display scale. A 1:18 model is 25–27cm long and has the kind of presence that commands a shelf. Bburago Ferrari 499P Le Mans and the 1989 Batmobile are the 1:18 pieces in this collection.

Frequently asked questions

What is a 1:24 scale model car?

A 1:24 scale model car is a diecast or resin replica that is 1/24th the size of the real vehicle. A standard passenger car approximately 4.5 metres long becomes a model roughly 18–19cm in length at 1:24 scale. The 1:24 format is one of the most popular collector scales in India because it provides enough room for opening features (doors, bonnet) and interior detail while remaining compact enough to display several models together.

What is the difference between 1:18 and 1:43 scale diecast models?

1:18 scale models are approximately 25–27cm long — large display pieces with the most interior detail, opening features, and engine bay replication available at any widely-sold price point. 1:43 models are roughly 9–10cm long — compact collector items that can display 10–15 on a standard shelf. 1:43 is the most common scale for Formula 1 replicas and motorsport collector models. 1:18 is typically chosen for display centrepieces of specific favourite cars.

What does ‘officially licensed’ mean on a diecast model?

An officially licensed diecast model carries a formal agreement between the model manufacturer and the vehicle manufacturer allowing use of the car’s design, badging, livery colours, and brand name. Unlicensed models can reproduce the car’s shape but cannot use official logos, badges, or colour names. Licensed models — such as MSZ Porsche and BMW, Bburago Ferrari and F1, or Kinsmart Koenigsegg — have accurate branding approved by the manufacturer. Licensing is the primary quality and authenticity signal for collector models.

Where can I buy scale model cars in India?

You can buy a wide range of scale model cars — 1:18, 1:24, 1:32, 1:36, 1:43, and 1:47 — from Cocoland Toys with delivery across India. Prices range from ₹899 to ₹20,299. Models in stock include Bburago F1 replicas, MSZ licensed Porsche and BMW, EBBRO Japanese motorsport, LCD Models Toyota Supra A80, GFCC Cadillac, and more. We deliver to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

What is EBBRO diecast?

EBBRO is a Japanese diecast model manufacturer founded in 1972, known for highly accurate 1:43 scale replicas of Japanese motorsport vehicles. EBBRO specialises in Super GT (Japan’s premier touring car series), Japanese Touring Car Championship, and historic Japanese race car replicas. The Craftsports Motul Nissan GT-R Nismo
GT500 2019 Super GT and the Porsche 910 1969 Le Mans in the Cocoland range are
typical of EBBRO’s motorsport-focused catalogue. EBBRO models are aimed at dedicated collectors who want race-accurate Japanese motorsport replicas at
1:43 scale.
